Vidya Balan born on January 1st, 1978 in Palghat, Kerala, India is a beautiful Bollywood actress.
Vidya Balan was born to the vice president of ETC Channel, P R Balan and his wife. Vidya Balan has an elder sister named Priya and both the sisters were raised in Mumbai. Vidya Balan completed her school education from St. Anthony's Girls High School in Chembur, Mumbai. She graduated from St. Xavier's College in Sociology.
Vidya Balan came into the limelight with Surf Excel commercial and went on to do several commercials. She also made her presence felt in Pankaj Udhas and Shubha Mudgal's music videos. She also appeared in a couple of soap operas like Hum Paanch' and 'Hanste Khelte'.
Vidya Balan made her debut in films with a Bengali movie, "Bhalo Theko" {2003} and made her Bollywood debut with "Parineeta" {2005} and has since appeared in numerous Bollywood movies like "Lage Raho Munna Bhai {2006}, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa" {2007}, "Halla Bol" {2008}. She received Filmfare nomination for "Bhool Bhulaiyaa".
