Ujjwala Raut born on June 11th, 1978 in Mumbai is a wonderful Indian supermodel who rose to fame in international modeling world.
Ujjwala Raut was born to Mumbai cop who was an Assistant Commissioner of Police and his wife. Ujjwala Raut is the second youngest of the five sisters born to her parents. Ujjwala Raut studied at Vidya Mandir High School in Dahisar, Mumbai and took her degree in commerce from Gokhale College in Borivali, Mumbai. It was during the final years of her college Ujjwala Raut did her first Fashion show.
At the age of seventeen, encouraged by her elder sister Ujjwala Raut competed in the Femina Look of the Year contest in 1996. No sooner had she won the contest Ujjwala Raut landed her first fashion show for DeBeers Jewelers followed by Gold Flake cigarette campaign. Ujjwala Raut soon became one of the top international models. Ujjwala Raut did fashion shows in Paris for designer Emanuel Ungaro and others. Later at the suggestion of a photographer-friend Gilles Marie Zimmerman and his wife Magalie, Ujjwala Raut sought help from the famous modeling agency IMG in New York.
