Preeti Jhangiani born on August 18th, 1980 in Mangalore, Karnataka is a model-turned promising Bollywood actress.

Preeti Jhangiani was born in a Sindhi family and pursued her education at St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad. Preeti Jhangiani first hit the limelight with Rajshri's music video "Chui Mui" in which she performed alongside Abbas. Preeti Jhangiani's hot performance as 'Chui Mui' girl in the music video made her an instant celebrity that brought her modeling assignments and movie offers. Preeti Jhangiani endorsed several products like Nirma Sandal soap and others.

Hot pretty-looking Preeti Jhangiani began her movie career with a Malayalam movie called "Mazhavillu" in 1999. The same year she appeared in a lead role in "Thammudu", a Telugu film starring opposite Pavan Kalyan. Her performances in both the movies won her rave reviews. Preeti Jhangiani has dated model Gautam Rodha and Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani, and Mushtaq Nadiadwala, the brother of film-maker, Feroz Nadiadwala. While she is said to have been engaged to Mushtaq Nadiadwala, Preeti Jhangiani on the other hand coolly married Pravin Dabbas her co-star of "Mohabbatein" on March 23rd, 2008.
