Minissha Lamba who graduated with a degree in English from the University of Delhi wanted to become a journalist. But as destiny had its way, gorgeous Minissha became a renowned model and soon turned into an actress gaining fame both in the fields of modeling and bollywood films.

Minissha Lamba who was born on January 18th, 1985 has indeed taken up modeling as a favorite pastime while in college. She soon turned professional and began modeling for renowned brands like Hajmola, Airtel, Sunsilk, LG, Sony and Cadbury and several others. It was the Cadbury ad that caught the attention of the bollywood filmmaker Shoojit Sircar who cast her in his film 'Yahaan' in 2005.

Minissha essayed the role of a girl torn between her lover, an army officer and her brother, a terrorist in her debut movie. Her intense performance has been appreciated and hailed despite the movie failing at the box office. She soon bagged roles in films like 'Rocky: The Rebel' [2006], 'Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.' [2007]. In 2008 Minissha appeared in four films like 'Anamika', 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', 'Kidnap' and 'Shaurya' in which she played the role of a journalist which she aspired to become in real life. Hot Minissha Lamba has also appeared in films 'Acid Factory' and Shyam Benegal-directed film 'Abba Ka Kaun'.
