Jiah Khan born as Nafisa Khan on February 20th, 1988 in New York is a renowned Bollywood actress. A multi-talented lady Jiah Khan has abundant talents in singing, dancing and playing piano. Nafisa Khan became Jiah Khan after watching Angelina Jolie's hot sexy made-for-television movie "Gia" {1998}.

Jiah Khan was born to Ex-Bollywood actress Rabiya Amin and her husband Ali Rizvi Khan, an Indian born American. When Jiah Khan was three months old her father Ali Rizvi Khan abandoned Jiah Khan and her mother for another woman. Soon her mother Rabiya Amin moved to London and remarried another person. After the birth of two daughters, the second husband too abandoned the family in 1995 after fleecing their money, home and everything they had. Ever since Jiah Khan and her two step sisters were brought up by her mother alone; at times subsisting on McDonald's burgers alone. Her mother Rabiya Amin now writes scripts for television in the UK and concepts for BBC.

Jiah Khan completed her A levels in literature and film studies. She has also attended the Lee Strasberg Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. Besides, the beautiful Jiah Khan is a wonderful dancer having learnt seven dance forms Lambada, Kathak, Samba, Salsa, Jazz, Reggae and Belly dancing. Jiah Khan is also a trained opera singer and an excellent piano player. She sang and danced wonderfully in her own music album 'Take Lite'.

Jiah Khan was first signed by Mahesh Bhatt for "Tumsa Nahin Dekha" {2004}. After two weeks of hectic shooting in Dubai Jiah Khan decided to back out of the movie as she felt "the character was far too mature." After a wait of two years, Jiah Khan while she was in Mumbai on a holiday "just walked into RGV's office wearing the sexiest hot pants and heels." She said, she "was trembling like a leaf" before Ram Gopal Varma.

Jiah Khan thus made her debut in Ram Gopal Varma's "Nishabd" in 2007 starring opposite Amitabh Bachchan. The movie is all about a young girl falling in love with a man old enough to be her father. The hot Bollywood actress is busy with her upcoming movies like Aamir Khan starrer "Ghajini" and "Housefull".
