Esha Deol completed her school studies from Jamnabai Narsee School, Mumbai. Esha Deol later attended Oxford University for her Masters Degree in Media Arts and Computer Technology. Esha Deol is an expert in Bharatanatyam and Odissi classical dance forms. She is also an accomplished national level football player. Esha Deol made her Bollywood debut with Boney Kapoor's "Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe" in 2002. Though the film was a moderate success Esha Deol went on to win 8 awards for her wonderful performance. She has since appeared in several movies but success eluded her until "Dhoom" released in 2004. "Dhoom" became a blockbuster hit and Esha Deol continued to give terrific performances ever since. In 2005 Esha Deol has four hits to her credit with Karan Johar and Shahrukh Khan's "Kaal", Boney Kapoor's "No Entry", David Dhawan's "Shaadi No. 1" and multi-starrer action thriller "Dus". Esha Deol has shown versatility in acting and gave an intense performance playing a negative role in "Ankahee" {2006}, and as a vengeful ghost in Ram Gopal Verma's "Darling" {2007}.
